Want to become a PGA Member, but not yet working in golf? Begin in the Affiliate Program, to eventually become an PGA Associate and work toward PGA Membership. This allows you to complete Level 1 of the award winning education program designed for aspiring PGA Professionals that focuses on the People, the Business and the Game.
ATALAYA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB SHARES & MEMBERSHIPS
First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest in Atalaya Golf & Country Club. Atalaya Golf & Country Club is without any doubt one of the most international golf clubs on the Costa del Golf with two 18-hole courses – the Old and the New Course, driving range, short and long game areas, as well as a practice hole and a wonderful Golf Academy.
To become a member of Atalaya you must purchase a share in the company, Atalaya Golf Country Club Internacional, S.A. ‘sin serie’. Atalaya golf shares are all individual, and once you have purchased the share, you have to activate it by paying the playing rights.
The club offers its members two different memberships. Each of them with the idea of adjusting to the needs of each member. Both are valid for a full financial year, i.e. from 1 January to 31 December.

Other benefits, apart of belonging to one of the most ancient golf club of the Costa del Sol, as it was created in 1967, are following: exclusive use of large practice areas and gymnasium, bridge club, entry to all club organised tournaments and social events, preferential tee times for members, handicap management, special reduced green fees on several golf courses in the area. Discounts at the Peter Gustafsson Golf Academy, in buggy rental and many other privileges, like discounts in the Restaurant and Kiosk of the Club and at all Golfriend’s proshops.
The member can invite his family and friends paying a special reduced green fee for members’ guests. The direct family member can even play as a member’s guest without the member / shareholder.
Those members with children can apply for a ‘Junior Membership’ for children/grandchildren older than 13 and younger than 22 years. The members’ children/grandchildren under 13 have unlimited play on the golf courses for free.
The golf shares of Atalaya Golf y Country Club Internacional, S.A. have now a price of Euros 10.000,00 and the activation fee is of Euros 5.000,00.
- A-Membership. It includes the yearly fee plus unlimited play on the golf courses. The yearly fee for 2024 is Euros 2.430,00.
- B-Membership. This membership is for those members who do not live in the area and play little golf during the year. It includes the yearly fee plus 20 green fees to play on the golf courses. The yearly fee for 2024 is Euros 1.745,00.
